The 2023 Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Réserve Limited Edition is a beautifully crafted organic rosé from the celebrated Languedoc AOP, nestled along France’s Mediterranean coast. Made from a harmonious blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah grown in schist and limestone soils punctuated by rolling terrain, the grapes benefit from the region’s warm, sunny days and cooling sea breezes. This special Art Edition honors the “Mediterranean art de vivre” with a striking bottle design—a base shaped like a rose, conceived by a student from École Boulle, in collaboration with artist Morgan Jamieson.
On the nose, this rosé presents a bright pink hue and offers an enticing aromatic profile of fresh strawberries, cherries, and rose petals, complemented by subtle liquorice and citrus notes. The palate is lively and elegant, showcasing flavors of red berries—think strawberry, cranberry, and watermelon—framed by crisp acidity and a silky texture that carries through to a persistent finish featuring hints of peach, candy, and citrus .
