Like the producer's Merlot, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon shows great winemaking and a refined style, with beautifully built layers of medium-bodied red fruit, grippy tannin, and a twist of leafy dried herb. It continues to grip for a while, the structure impressively built for considerable aging a solid 15-20 years.

A dark fruit aroma evolves from dark plum and black fig to blueberries and tangy bilberries, accompanied by notes of leather and espresso. Muscular tannins that provide close to grippy support complement the wine's flavors of blackberry, boysenberry gelato and cinnamon. Touches of cedar and dark chocolate hover in the background.
