Rising like a phoenix from the ashes, Borne of Fire Cabernet Sauvignon pays homage to this exciting, remote vineyard region in Eastern Washington called The Burn. This exciting region was named from legends of early settlers who set fire to the land in the fall to replenish and rejuvenate the grasslands for their horses in the spring. This elegant, yet uninhibited wine instantly pulls you into in its bold, ruby color and full body. Aromas of pomegranate, wild flowers, and savory spice swirl from the glass, preceding a luscious mouthfeel of currant, black cherry, leather, and red pepper. The grapes for Borne of Fire Cabernet Sauvignon were fermented on the stems to not only integrate the terroir of The Burn into the wine, but to also add texture and complexity. The result is a wine that perfectly bridges the gap of old world elegance with new world fruit character.

Jeb Dunnuck Review - Rated 91:
Just bottled, the 100% varietal 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has a juicy, fruit-forward, delicious style as well as notes of ripe black cherries, tobacco, and leafy herbs. With plenty of fruit, ripe tannins, and loads to love, drink it over the coming 5-7 years.
