Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting Notes For Typesetter Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Vinum Cellars Typesetter Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 showcases the power and elegance of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Crafted by Vinum Cellars, a family-owned winery founded in 1997 by longtime friends Richard Bruno and Chris Condos, the winery has built its reputation on sourcing exceptional fruit from California's premier vineyards while emphasizing sustainability and small-lot winemaking. The Typesetter label highlights premium Napa Valley fruit, producing a Cabernet that balances rich concentration with classic varietal character.
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, this full-bodied red opens with expressive aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, dark cherry, vanilla, cedar, cocoa, tobacco, and baking spice, supported by firm yet polished tannins and a long, structured finish. Aging in French oak contributes notes of vanilla and toast while enhancing the wine's complexity. An ideal companion to grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, roasted lamb, venison, aged cheddar, or mushroom-based dishes, this Cabernet also has the structure to reward additional cellaring for several years.
