Villa Cerna sits at Castellina in Chianti, on the first vine-covered hill reached when entering the Chianti Classico DOCG area from Siena. Cecchi acquired the property in the early 1960s, restored the manor house, and built a winery surrounded by 80 hectares of vineyards.
A Chianti Classico Riserva, expressive with flavors of cherry, violet, and a touch of spice. The combination of fruit, floral, and spice notes gives the wine a composed Tuscan profile, while the Riserva designation adds a traditional context for the style.
