The Hess Collection Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 (750 ml) Tasting Notes
Winemaker's Notes
The 2023 Hess Collection Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Allomi Vineyard east of Howell Mountain, where 35 growing blocks and six Cabernet Sauvignon clones contribute depth and complexity. A long, mild season encouraged slow maturity and developed the vintage's vibrant flavors.
Warm vanilla, strawberry and cedar lead the aroma, joined by cinnamon and nutmeg from barrel aging. The palate begins softly, then moves through juicy fruit, cocoa and subtle cedar, with dusty tannins giving way to velvety berry and vanilla notes on the lingering finish.
