Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting Notes For Sinegal Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
The 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a blockbuster of a wine, opening with explosive aromas of crushed red currants, Chambord, and black tea leaf; enveloped in layers of sweet cigar box and cocoa beans. The full-bodied palate displays flavors of macerated blackberries and blueberries with hints of graphite and dried herbs, leading to a dense tannin structure and long and bright finish. This wine exhibits both power and elegance and has the ageing potential of 15 or more years. Possibly the finest example of a wine produced off the estate property to date.
