The 2021 Appassionata is a wine of depth as well as energy, the Stags Leap District Cabernet is both complete and absolutely delicious. Time will bring out a whole range of earth, tobacco, spice and cocoa notes to play off a core of intense, dark-fleshed fruit with a nice minerality on the finish.

A beautiful, deep, glass-staining, dark ruby-purple hue. Crushed violet and lilac floral aromas are complemented by dark roast espresso, and an herbal component redolent of mint and fresh tobacco.
