Nino Negri Mazer comes from vineyards within the Valtellina Superiore DOCG in Lombardy, where Nebbiolo is known locally as Chiavennasca. The producer selects parcels from the valley's historic growing zones, bringing together alpine freshness, ripe dark-fruit character, and the distinctive structure of this mountain-grown red wine.
A small portion of the Nebbiolo is allowed to dry briefly after harvest before joining the main wine, a technique that deepens the fruit and rounds the tannins.
