Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting Notes For Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut 2013
A light golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The maturity of this champagne is immediately apparent, with autumnal notes of roasted chestnuts, toasted buckwheat, rich nuts, honey and nougat. White fruit is revealed next, reminiscent of a beautifully ripe apple or pear. Aromas of iodine, dried flowers and pine sap complete the bouquet.
Critic Ratings
This elegant Champagne displays citrus, mineral and toast character in equal measure, with bright notes of preserved lemon and verbena layered with smoke, chalk, brioche and nut flavors. The interplay is backed by deftly knit acidity, riding the fine and creamy mousse through to the lingering finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged May 2019. Drink now through 2030. — AN
