Tasting Notes For Marques de Caceres Rioja Gran Reserva 2019

Intense color with a slightly brick-red border. Very complex bouquet of balsamic notes with fine wood notes. Full-bodied palate with ripe plum and sweet spices over toasted flavors. It maintains the freshness of a subtle vividness that promises excellent ageing potential. Flavorsome, full-bodied with a lingering finish.

Sophisticated, layered, classic Rioja. Mixed fruits sprinkled with cocoa, a waft of cedar and toasted spices gain savory flavors and a balsamic finish with further sipping. Polished tannins create an enveloping mouthfeel carrying into a long finish. Oak is well integrated into the fruit with layers of interest.
