Luca Old Vine Malbec 2023 comes from historic Malbec vineyards in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, including sites around Paraje Altamira, Tupungato and La Consulta. The cool, dry growing season helped preserve lively acidity while the old-vine fruit supplied concentrated berry character and depth.
Spice, black cherry cola and cocoa lead into a vivid palate of ripe berries with an espresso-toned finish. The wine was fermented with native yeast and matured in French oak, bringing polished structure that suits venison, steak, pork, lamb and medium-strong cheeses.
