A dark and rich wine sourced from small, family vineyards. Aged for 24-30 months in the finest French oak barrique. The stave wood is hand-selected for ultra-tight grain, then air dried for three years before being made into barrels.
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah

Jeb Dunnuck Review - Rated 93:
Made with the idea of a 21st century claret and based on 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Merlot, the 2022 The Diplomat was puncheon fermented and aged 32 months in 100% new French oak. It's beautifully textured and forward, with terrific purity in its darker raspberry and redcurrants intermixed with toasted spices, savory flowers, and sweet tobacco. It's beautifully balanced, ripe, pure, and medium to full-bodied. Drink this any time over the coming 10-12 years. Drink 2025-2037.
James Suckling Review - Rated 97:
Dark berry aromas with some graphite and stone. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins that are creamy and polished. Succulent and very long. Juicy finish. Lovely tension and drinkability already. Blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot, aged 35 months in barrels. Drink or hold.
