Famille Perrin Les Sinards Rouge 2023 is a Chateauneuf-du-Pape assembled mainly from Grenache, with Mourvedre and Syrah. Its fruit comes from young Beaucastel vines and two nearby vineyards, including south-west-facing Syrah and Grenache grown on rounded stones, giving the cuvee a direct expression of the southern Rhone.
The 2023 shows a deep garnet color and an aromatic profile of woodland, truffle, wild strawberry and violet. The palate is full and silky, with fine integrated tannins, cherry-toned fruit and a lightly smoky accent. Famille Perrin suggests serving it with spiced duck, mature cheese, truffles or mushrooms.
