Chateau Mont-Redon Cotes du Rhone Rouge Reserve 2024 (750 ml) Tasting Notes
Chateau Mont-Redon's 2024 Cotes du Rhone Rouge Reserve is a Southern Rhone red centered on Grenache Noir and Syrah, with Mourvedre and Carignan completing the blend. The producer's vineyards include rolled-pebble sites near Roquemaure and limestone soils near the northwestern edge of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
The grapes are fully destemmed and remain in contact with their skins for about fifteen days before malolactic fermentation. Maturation takes place in underground-cellar vats for eight to ten months, preserving vivid black and red fruit while building silky, firm tannins and a gently spicy finish.
