Chapoutier Cdr Belleruche Blanc 2024 (750 ml) Tasting Notes
Winemaker's Notes
M. Chapoutier's 2024 Belleruche Blanc is a Côtes-du-Rhône white blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette and Bourboulenc. The producer describes fruit grown mainly on stony marl and clay-limestone slopes, with the grapes harvested at night to limit oxidation and protect aromatic freshness.
After gentle pressing, the wine ferments at low temperature in stainless steel and rests on fine lees for five months. The profile combines apricot, fennel and floral aromas with a rounded yet fresh palate, a subtly aniseed finish, and a natural fit with grilled sardines or sea bream.
