Cantina Zaccagnini Pinot Grigio 2025 (750 ml) Tasting Notes
Cantina Zaccagnini's Tralcetto Pinot Grigio comes from medium-textured clay soils in the Chieti area of Abruzzo. The winery's signature vine sprig is tied to each bottle by hand, reflecting the Tralcetto line's connection to the vineyards and the territory where the wine is grown.
The Pinot Grigio grapes are typically harvested early, then destemmed and softly pressed under vacuum to obtain free-run juice. Fermentation of the clear fraction takes place at low temperature for ten days, followed by aging on the lees in stainless steel before bottling.
Straw yellow in color, the wine offers pear and green apple aromas with light herbal notes. Freshness and savory character balance its light structure and crisp white-fruit profile, making it a natural partner for fresh cheeses, grilled vegetables, white meats, and delicate pizzas.
