The nose of this very beautiful Corton-Charlemagne transports me to an Alpine meadow, when all the wild flowers are blossoming.

This is a graceful but powerfully structured Corton-Charlemagne, combining restrained citrus richness with pronounced stony minerality. The medium- to full-bodied palate remains tightly focused, with a strong saline current that carries through the finish. It is already compelling, though further bottle age should reveal more depth and aromatic complexity.

A creamy style, boasting lemon curd, peach and pastry aromas and flavors.

The wine builds steadily across the palate, moving from creamy citrus and peach into a more focused combination of mineral and spice. Its texture is generous without losing precision, and the finish is multidimensional, persistent, and distinctly lemon-tinged. The structure should develop well from 2026 through the middle of the next decade.

This barrel assessment describes a taut, chiseled white Burgundy with excellent depth and a racy mineral profile. Pear and green apple fruit are supported by white flowers, wet stone, and abundant chalky extract. The wine is medium to full-bodied and firmly structured, with the concentration and freshness needed for extended aging.
