This cuvée was named in tribute to Louis, Elisabeth Salmon’s brother, who was passionate about oenology and highly involved in winemaking from the earliest creation of the House. Originating from the best parcels of the Côte des Blancs, the Blanc de Blancs vintage is endowed with purity and minerality.

This Blanc de Blancs is a precise expression of the Côte des Blancs, opening with orchard fruit, yeasty depth, delicate flowers and a touch of honey. Fresh peach, toasted notes, iodine, white pepper and white rose unfold across the palate. Its linear structure and fine poise give it excellent long-term aging potential.

White flowers, lemon oil, nashi pear and almond paste are joined by cardamom, oyster shell and fresh bread. The palate is elegantly muscular, with crystalline purity, racy acidity and generous chalky extract. It is slightly more graceful and less forceful than the 2012, yet remains equally compelling and built for a long life.

White flowers, hazelnut, peach and grapefruit create a pure, fresh bouquet with a saline hint of oyster shell. The palate is sleek, chalky and linear, driven by fine bubbles and bright acidity. Stainless-steel vinification and a restrained dosage emphasize precision, and the wine can be enjoyed now or held.
