Experience Orin Swift Cellars in a new Brand Tasting Set!
This Wine Tasting Set contains the wines listed below (4 Total Bottles):
Orin Swift Cellars Abstract Red Blend - California
Aged for 8 months in French and American Oak, 27% new. Aromatics with gravity, the wine pulls you in with notes of blueberry, black fig, bloodied strawberry and hints of musk and rhubarb. Bold on the entry, the palate exudes rich notes of dark plum and ripe framboise with a slightly chalky texture. The wine transitions effortlessly to a finish of black cherry, sweet licorice and some quick drying tannins.
Orin Swift Cellars Papillon Bordeaux Red Blend - California
A Bordeaux-style red wine from the Napa Valley, comprised of all five varietals , is hard to find. We’ve been lucky to source quality fruit from long time growers on both the valley floor and surrounding hillsides; and while finding Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec can be difficult, their contributions to the resulting wine make it worthwhile. A prime example of our house style—accessible, massive, and memorable—the bottle empties quickly (a slight disappointment when discovered) for the bottle weight suggests differently, and searching for another bottle ensues.
Orin Swift Cellars Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon - California
The wine is introduced with rich primary aromatics of cassis, blueberry and black cherry, complemented with hints of lavender, chaparral and sandalwood. The entry is brawny with ripe blackberry and boysenberry that transitions to a nuanced midpalate of dark toffee and espresso bean. Integrated tannins that will soften over time lead a finish of soft rhubarb and licorice.
Orin Swift Cellars Palermo Cabernet Sauvignon - California
A seamless assortment of classic Napa Cabernet aromas exude from the glass — cassis, black cherries, chaparral and a touch of intriguing butterscotch. On the palate, the wine is tastefully expressive with ripe raspberry, crème caramel, bay leaf and two types of currants— red and black. Carrying its own weight through the finish, the wine’s prominent tannins will soften over time.
