Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting Notes For Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Shiraz 2017
Deep red with a dark crimson core, this wine offers aromas of black cherry pastille, with complex notes of wood smoke, lavender, fresh leather, vanilla bean & black peppercorn. Medium to full bodied hits the palate, with lots of buoyant, bright, black fruits, covering the true spectrum from blackberry pastille, blackberry bush, dark cherry and mulberry. Notes of dried tobacco and dried herb, give a nod to the vintage. The tannins build through the mid palate and frame the wine nicely, finishing in a nice chewy, rolling fashion, meshing beautifully with the frame work of the wines. Rolls through the palate as only a Barossa Shiraz can expanding to every nook and cranny of your mouth, creating a lovely density. The notes of black pepper, coal dust and dried lavender, give excellent appeal carrying it to the finish.
