Tolaini Al Passo Toscana 2019 is a wine that boasts a harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, the wine exhibits spicy oak notes that are complemented by the unmistakable fragrance of cherries and berries. The palate is characterized by a solid backbone of Sangiovese, which is perfectly balanced by the roundness of Merlot and the added body of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Tolaini Al Passo 2019 showcases the purity of the fruit and the unique characteristics of each varietal. It is an unfiltered wine, and as such, some sediment may occur at the bottom of the bottle.

Wine Spectator Review - Rated 92:
A tightly packed red, evoking blackberry, black cherry, tar, tobacco and white pepper notes, aligned with a dense matrix of tannins. Well proportioned, this just needs time to relax and stretch out on the finish. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2025 through 2041. 9,300 cases made, 6,000 cases imported. — BS
James Suckling Review - Rated 95:
This is a fantastic red with so much cherry, currant, ash, tobacco, earth and walnut aromas. It’s full and layered with firm tannins that provide form, texture and structure. Linear and long. Really excellent for the vintage. Give it two or three years to come together, but already a beauty. Try after 2025.
