Tasting Notes and Description
Tasting Notes For Pedras Negras Vinho Tinto
Redcurrant, plum, strawberries, and just a hint of coffee; these are what immediately jump out of the glass from this lovely example of a Portuguese staple. Castelão is planted throughout Portugal and makes up the backbone of some of its best wines. Aragonês, otherwise known as Tempranillo, gives the wine its delicate aromas, along with slightly dusty character, while just a hint of Syrah rounds out the ripe fruit finish. This example is true to style with its ruby color, full body, dark fruit notes and balanced tannins.
