Upon opening the 2018 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, aromas of black cherry and cassis fill the glass, followed by a hint of mocha. On the palate, bold tannins are balanced with concentrated flavors of ripe fig with savory notes of black olive and dried herbs. Well structured and full bodied, this Cabernet Sauvignon is approachable now, but will age beautifully over the next 5-10 years.
Blend: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petite Sirah

Steeped plum and blackberry fruit melds nicely with touches of vanilla, cedar and warm earth through the finish, with a polished feel overall that makes this accessible now too. Drink now through 2026. 10,036 cases made. — JM

This elegant red is earthy, with highlights of clove, currant and cedar. The midpalate is thick, concentrated and intense, built by a bold tannic grip that eases as it sits in the glass. VIRGINIE BOONE
